Abstract
Telecommunication and computer networks occupy an important place in the life of our society. The ability to communicate, obtain technical, scientific, commercial or just business information through networks gives them a special place in the modern world. The exchange of information is carried out using data networks — networks consisting of communication systems and data transmission channels that connect communication systems with each other and with subscriber systems. The main communication channels between the cities pass through the railways and the divisions of the Central Communications Station — a branch of JSC “Russian Railways” are responsible for their operation. The development of information technology over the past 25 years has significantly complicated the organization of networks and data transmission systems in railway transport.. Drawing up maps of route maps is a painstaking, time-consuming and complex process that requires special attention and a long time. The article discusses the development of an automated system that will allow a new look at the maintenance of technical documentation.

Keywords: data network, multiplexer, configuration, route maps, synchronization, object-visualized programming.
