Abstract
The article sets the task of assessing the reliability of information about the location of aircraft and vehicles on the working area of the aerodrome, obtained from a ground station of automatic dependent surveillance, as the cheapest aid of surveillance. Authenticity is evaluated with a given reliability b. A criterion for assessing the reliability of information is proposed; its essence is to determine the confidence interval for estimating the location of the object Ib, under two conditions: the confidence interval should be less than the estimate of the mathematical expectation of the location of the object m~ received from the surveillance aids, and also less than the boundary value of the accuracy of confirming the information authenticity eg. The article offers various methods for determining accuracy. It can be obtained from regulatory requirements (for example, from the Basis of an aerodrome multi-sensor surveillance system), or calculated. The movement of the object along the working area of the aerodrome was simulated, while it was assumed that the object moves in a straight line, with a constant speed and zero deviation from a given trajectory. For the surveillance aids were set various errors: the mathematical expectation from 0.5 to 1.5 m and the mean square error of determining coordinates from 3 to 15 m. The required number of measurements was calculated to determine the magnitude of the error in measuring the coordinates of the object. It is shown that the application of the criterion allows, by setting the required number of measurements for analysis (which depends on the reliability b and the accuracy of confirming authenticity eg), to evaluate the accuracy of the coordinate information received from the ground station automatic dependent surveillance, that is, decide whether it can be used as the main or the only aid of monitoring aircraft and vehicles on the aerodrome’s working area.

Keywords: automatic dependent surveillance, ADS-B, authenticity of surveillance information, coordinate error, aerodrome’s working area; aircraft, vehicle.
