The central-Asian market of
wire broadband access to the Internet
(J’son and Partners, February, 2009)

By the end of 2008 the monthly Internet subscriber
base in the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
reached 5.7 mln compared to 4.7 mln in 2007. It is
worth mentioning that during the period from 2005
till 2008 the Internet subscribers growth rate in
the region was decreasing twice every year, and average
yearly growth amounted 53%. In 2007 Internet penetration
level was 8%, by the end of 2008, it increased by
1% up to 9%.
By the end of 2008, the subscriber base of Residential
and Corporate Broadband in the Central Asian countries
reached 450 thd and 78 thd respectively with penetration
levels of 3.5% and 2,8%. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
are the leaders in total Broadband subscriber base:
by the end of 2008 they reached 300 thd and 135 thd
accordingly. Turkmenistan takes the last position
with not more than 7 thd subscribers in 2008. Kazakhstan
and Uzbekistan have 82% of the total subscriber base,
with the other three countries have 18% of the total
Broadband subscribers in the region.
In 2007 the revenues in the region reached $148 mln.,
with a 140% growth. By the end of 2008 the Broadband
revenue reached $175 mln., while the revenue growth
rate was 18%. This tendency emerged due to the world
financial crisis.
The Residential and Corporate Broadband ARPU dynamic
in the region has continued to decrease. In 2007 Residential
Broadband ARPU in the region amounted $11.9, but in
2008 it decreased down to $6.7. The Corporate Broadband
ARPU in the region amounted $21.2 in 2007, but in
2008 it decreased down to $18.1.

distortions are considered. It is shown, that to each
element of intrapersonnel structure of the image actually
there corresponds the individual through aperture
characteristic. It is offered to consider separately
at performance of the analysis influence of aperture
and peak distortions on a spatial spectrum of signals
of TV of images. Features of approximation of aperture
characteristics in frequency space are considered.
Parities for calculation of the form of real function
of the aperture in television systems are received.

transfer in networks of wireless access

Now the most mass and perspective technologies of
wireless access which can be applied to transfer of
a plenty of the traffic of a different kind, are:
the standard of wireless local networks IEEE 802.11
and the standard of wireless networks of city scale
IEEE802.16. In article the analysis various system
of the transfer, necessary for the decision of problems
is lead at designing systems of wireless broadband
access.

of knowledge on the basis of cooccurrence of key terms

Article is devoted to development neironetwork method
of automatic extraction of knowledge from files of
the text-through documents, based on representation
of texts in the form of a set of key terms. Application
to the analysis of thematic structure of information
library is considered. The measure of affinity of
texts is based on their frequency component.

Development of the Internet-space
in Kazahstan

One of the most appreciable phenomena in the world
of information technologies is the Internet. Appeared
from military development, it has begun the development
in the environment of universities and all for some
years has changed a life almost all globe. In article
data on a current condition the Internet-space in
Kazahstan, requirements of citizens of republic in
Kazahstan sites, to the analysis of quality and the
contents of the information on them, to a rating of
sites are cited.

On a way to LTE: Results of
work of World mobile congress Barselona-2009

From February, 16 till February, 18th in Barcelona
(Spain), has taken place the world mobile congress
(MWC-2009). The congress will be organized and spent
by the world association of operators GSM (GSMA).
In work of the congress and an exhibition has taken
part{has participated} more than 47 thousand person
from more than 180 countries of the world. According
to GSMA on MWC-2009 production have presented about
1300 companies. 2400 information resources have participated
in coverage MWC-2009.
