Wireless local networks IEEE 802.11: distribution of speeds mechanism

Low quality of communication on any direction of wireless local area network communication under control of IEEE 802.11 protocol with the distributed mechanism of access to a transmission medium influences all remaining corresponding pairs of nodes and on the whole network. The reason of it is in time reduction of channel occupation by stations using high speed of transmission at the expense of increasing time of channel occupation by stations transferring packets at low speed.

Characteristics of the data flows generated by a Web-server

Web servers generate the major part of the Internet traffic. Knowledge of the Web traffic structure is necessary in order to support the quality of service effectively. Containing data of various types and volumes file servers constitute a significant part of resources in a network. This paper describes the traffic of Web server providing access to the musical content. Analysis of data traces shows that generated by Web server traffic can be separated onto several data flows, based on a distribution of file sizes, requested by user. The main characteristics of these flows such as a number of arrived requests and a volume of transferred data from server considerably differ for various data flows.

STATE ROLE IN REGULATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION
INFRASTRUCTURES DEVELOPMENT

In article results of research of noise stability in a communication channel in the presence of a casual interfering signal and several spread-spectrum signals are resulted. Various ratios on power between transferred signals are considered. In communication channel model quantization and discretization are considered. Calculation of an error ratio is made on the basis of model which is set in the form of mathematical expressions in program MathCAD. The considered way of transfer is intended for protection of the transferred information.

Contact management in telecommunications

The Russian telecommunication companies, which work with a great number of foreign suppliers, as a rule, aspire to unify approaches to drawing up of contracts and their execution. Practice of preparation of difficult contracts also becomes especially important in active development of the new markets, globalization. So, in particular, the urgency of the specified theme for communication branch confirmes following tendencies: increase in export and import of specialized software and hardware systems, the equipment; building of foreign segments of a network and of the Russian communications service providers interface knots; increasing value of branch sectoral international regulatory bodies, standardization and certification
The article provides an overview of contract management in the context of project management, as well as some practical aspects, accepted in international practice, which, according to the authors, it is necessary to pay attention when drawing up and signing contracts with suppliers of equipment, software and hardware systems, subscriber terminals. Purpose of the article — to acquaint readers with the area of contract management and a number of particular questions of drawing up contracts in telecommunications. The article is a decomposition of control problems from general questions to some of the practical aspects of contract management in telecommunications.
